The history of the cellar

Cantina Sociale Coop. di Quistello, built in 1928 by local winemakers, produces Lambrusco Mantovano DOC, Granbianco di Quistello IGT, Gran Rosso del Vicariato di Quistello IGT, Dolce del Vicariato di Quistello IGT, Bianco di Quistello IGT, 80 Vendemmie IGT.


They currently have an annual supply of 50,000 quintals of grapes, produced by 160 members. The grape harvest takes place entirely in the province of Mantua, specifically the production area extends along the banks of the Secchia River, an area that boasts ancient winemaking and gastronomic traditions.


All members use low environmental impact systems, ensuring on-site processing in all stages of the process, from grape delivery to bottling, to optimize the quality/price ratio. The company is ISO 9001:2015 certified to support the quality of both the production and administrative processes and the traceability of the materials that contribute to obtaining the finished product.
